Experts from Johns Hopkins University have calculated, based on the latest statistics, the figure that the population of New York would reach at the start of the next century.

They estimate that the largest city in the world will have around 30 million inhabitants in 77 years. 5% will be Negroes and 30% inhabitants of foreign origin. Housing will be expensive in New York in the 21st century.
