Le Petit Journal illustré - May 24, 1925

A French engineer, Mr. Georges Gauthier, by equipping motor vehicles with a special suspension, managed to make them jump over obstacles without any more damage to the driver than to the vehicle!Le Petit journal illustré 1925 05 24 : A car that jumps obstacles as easily as a horse
In these photographs, we see the vehicle taking off like an airplane at a speed of 35 kilometers per hour. After traveling up an embankment 1 meter high and at a 45° angle, the car rises to about 1.5 meters and lands 5 or 6 meters further away, with the rear wheels reaching almost the same height as the front ones.

This could have been an invention of the Pêle-Mêle
