A DRAMA AT MASS

LE MANS, October 6. In the church of Saint-Antoine de Rochefort, in La Ferté-Bernard, during high mass, a drama took place yesterday.
At the moment of the elevation, a Mrs. Garreau, fifty years old, struck, using a bottle that she had hidden, a violent blow on the head of Miss Delphine Rottier, fifty years old, who was placed in front of her.
Seriously injured, Miss Rottier collapsed; the service was interrupted. The victim was helped while the gendarmerie arrested Mrs. Garreau.
A violent hatred had separated the two women for many years and had already caused incidents.
