Two pieces of good news for Funi readers: It is a well-known fact that the power of a newspaper depends on its readership. Funi is no exception to this axiom and, eager to strengthen its strength, it is offering each of its subscribers, starting today, a completely free ticket to a local cinema. It will, of course, start with its current subscribers, many of whom have been subscribers since 1923. THE "EMBARRASSED DRIVER" COMPETITION Here is an original and fun competition, not falling under the law that prohibits contests in which a winner is determined by chance alone. Indeed, it's not about guessing the number of beans in a basket, or, given that a boat is traveling at 20 knots, guessing the captain's age. None of that. It's an honest competition, the full details of which will only be provided in our July 5th issue, and which will delight young and old alike. The prizes! It's impossible for us to offer a country house or a car, as our great colleagues have done. Nevertheless, the prizes are numerous and magnificent. We owe them to the generosity of our advertisers, and here is a brief overview of those we have been able to collect so far! AGA, 107, Faubourg du Temple, a set of rugs.
Mr. MADRONET, owner of "A la Ville de Limoges," several sets of porcelain. Mr. VACHE, "A la Maison Nouvelle," 60, rue de Belleville, is offering small, medium, and large trunks and briefcases. Mr. ALLERON, director of "Temple-Alimentation," 40, Faubourg du Temple, several kilos of chocolate and coffee. Mr. MUNIER, 101, rue Julien-Lacroix, a kitchen buffet. Mr. BERNARD, director of the Cocorico cinema, 50 free tickets. Mr. DEUNIER, director of the Alhambra cinema, 50 free tickets. MANAGEMENT. |

Hauts-de-Seine: an 80-meter barge drifts for several kilometers on the Seine And while waiting for the competition to be published, calculate the speed of the Seine current between these two points and multiply by the chances of an accident: zero! |
