Down with roosters!

The friendly police commissioner of the Combat district, Mr. Martel, asks us to remind all Belleville residents that only those duly authorized by the hygiene department of the police headquarters may raise poultry, pigeons, rabbits, and other domestic animals. Readers wishing to obtain this authorization must submit a request by mail (without stamping) to the Prefect of Police.
In any case, roosters remain strictly prohibited.
And beware of fines...
