The Red Garrison of Orenburg Revolts

Riga, March 11 - On March 3, the Red Garrison of Orenburg revolted following anti-religious propaganda delivered by official lecturers who mocked the sacred mysteries. Outraged Old Believers killed the secretary of the regiment's "core" and seriously wounded a political agent.
Only the arrival of armored cars and cavalry on March 4 restored order.
