Poland Threatened: A Demonstration in Warsaw

Warsaw, March 16. A large demonstration took place yesterday in the city in protest against the proposed German guarantee. A large procession of flags unfurled formed in Town Hall Square, joined by students, craft associations, and various other tradespeople. A delegation visited Minister-President Grabsky to deliver a resolution stating that the government could count on the support of the Polish people should Germany attempt to revise Poland's borders.

This demonstration was reportedly directed against both Germany and England. Police cordons prevented the demonstrators from approaching the German and British consulates. (Radio)

A motion from the Republican Union of the Chamber

The Democratic Republican Union group in the Chamber of Deputies, chaired by Mr. Louis Marin, voted yesterday afternoon on the following motion:
The Democratic Republican Union group in the Chamber of Deputies protests against any possible infringement in Eastern Germany of the stipulations of the Treaty of Versailles and the balance they created for peace throughout Europe:
Demands that the Republic of Poland be energetically supported in its resistance to German claims and intrigues and intends that no pact of guarantee exclude the states of the Little Entente from these guarantees.
