Seagulls in the Albert 1st Garden Is there a more charming spectacle than the one seen every morning in the vicinity of the Pont de la Baie des Anges and the Albert 1st Garden. This is where the little white seagulls have taken up residence, which regulars on the Promenade des Anglais come to admire. In this photo we see these graceful seabirds who, like the pigeons in St. Mark's Square in Venice, are waiting for their feed. In a few moments, they will take flight in the blue sky, to crisscross it at low altitude, above the mouth of the Paillon, where the wintering birds will give them their daily food. It is a real distraction for them. The seagulls describe harmonious curves above their heads. The most daring ones come right up to their hands to take the food that is offered to them. |
