CURIOSITY In the Greek coins of the sale of La Fuÿe there was, yesterday, a coin from Ionia, a very curious coin from the seventh century BC (high relief rosette, composed of six fleurons. Hollow square with irregular protuberances). This very rare coin, and cited by Babelon, rose to 5,500 francs. In the first day of the sale of Far Eastern objects from the Weber collection, I did not note anything very important. A gourd-shaped vase, from the Yung-Tching period, decorated with chimeras and ribboned spheres, made 1,100 francs. LA FURETIÈRE.
