INSURANCES of the Decorative Arts Exhibition
The insurance of the International Decorative Arts Exhibition having given rise in part of the press to inaccurate comments, likely to mislead exhibitors and lead them into serious difficulties, the Commissioner General considers it his duty to recall that he has taken out a comprehensive policy for the risks of the Exhibition, by virtue of the right which belongs to him to fix, in the interest of all, the conditions of admission to the Exhibition. Given the failure of certain French "fire and all-risk" insurers who did not believe it necessary to respond to the Commissioner General's call, the placement of these risks was entrusted to the insurer who presented tangible proposals, satisfying the interest of all exhibitors and offering every guarantee. Moreover, French insurance companies have obtained in this placement of risks the full share which they were entitled to take.
