The movement in Catalonia is bloodily repressed

The censorship that is rampant in Spain does not let anything slip about the events that have just disturbed Catalonia, except for the official version that coldly declares that calm has been completely restored.
However, specific information allows us to re-establish the facts.

A battle at the border
In recent days, a certain number of Spaniards residing in France and traveling in groups or individually were arrested in border towns by the French police, others managed to cross the Spanish border in the region of Vera, in Navarre; a battle having started between the latter and the Spanish police, about twenty of them were arrested, others managed to cross back into France; ten dead and several wounded remained on the ground.

A barracks attacked
In Barcelona, ​​the conspirators had prepared, for the day of the 6th, an attack against the artillery barracks of Atarazanas, in agreement with the soldiers inside. The police surprised groups sneaking behind the barracks and gave chase. Five people, armed with bombs and automatic pistols, were arrested.

Two executions have taken place
The repression has begun. The named Joseph Mayer and Jean Montijo, sentenced to death on Saturday by the council of war, were executed yesterday morning in the courtyard of the prison where they had been incarcerated.
