The tree of death

Our Belgian colleagues demand that it be thrown down as soon as possible because it has too many crimes on its conscience. This tree is not far from Brussels, in the magnificent Bois de la Cambre. It is located at a rather dangerous bend but that does not prove that the tree is so, so guilty.

Since it was given this unfortunate reputation, it seems that accidents have multiplied and to such an extent that the majority of unfortunate rollovers are attributed to a phenomenon of auto (it is the case to say) suggestion.

So the tree is currently living its last days. And with it will disappear the haunting, the mysterious magnet that attracted motor vehicles to it.

It was not the occupied place that caused the accidents. It was the quasi-assurance of the almost inevitable accident if one passed by there.
