New alarming floods

DRAGUIGNAN, October 4. News from the department informs that the rain has fallen in torrents in the districts of Brignoles and Draguignan. The waters surround the railway lines and the land on the plains is flooded over large areas.

In the commune of Luc, two old buildings have collapsed. The river La Bresque was transformed into a torrent and blew up a bridge between Salernes and Entrecasteaux.
