Proclamation of the Nationalists

The Nationalist faction publishes a proclamation in which it declares that the Nationalists inflicted a serious defeat on the enemy on May 4, but a complete victory has not been won. Therefore, abstention in the next elections would be desertion.

The German people, it says, are turning away with disgust from their government and from a system that was introduced by democracy, at the behest of the enemies of Germany.

The President of the Empire, whose office is still not filled constitutionally, according to the will of the people, has not understood that he must be above the political parties. The leading government parties solemnly gave us their word at the end of August. The Nationalists were ready to enter the government by silencing serious scruples and in the interest of the fatherland.

The promise made has not been kept. One of the reasons for the present situation is the unworthy submission of the Democratic Party. We did not have the courage to neglect a party led by Jews subject to Marxism and numerically insignificant.

Germany will only rise again in the fight against the socialists. Our goals are the purification of the political atmosphere of the spirit of November 1918 and of the spirit of execution, which lowers itself before the foreigner to an unworthy pacifism.

Our party remains what it was, racist, Christian and social monarchist. Our colors remain, black, white, red and our will is firmer than ever to create a Germany free from the domination of the Jews and the French.
