Italy triumphed in the Monza Grand Prix, which was held last Sunday.
As every year, this great sporting event attracted a considerable crowd of spectators, who came from all over. All were delighted with the great Italian victory obtained by the famous Alfa-Romeo brand, whose cars held the lead throughout the circuit.

The ranking is as follows: 1. Ascari (Alfa-Romeo), in 5 h. 02'05". 2. Wagner (Alfa-Romeo), in 5 h. 08'05" 3. Campari (Alfa-Romeo), in 5 h. 25'. Ascari achieved a speed of 158 km. per hour.

We are very happy with this well-deserved success which is in some way an echo of that achieved in Lyon, last July, by the Italian industry.
