The Peace Congress
Berlin, October 4. - The Peace Congress, represented by its Disarmament Commission, has unanimously adopted a resolution in which it has declared itself in favor of the complete disarmament of all States. There should remain at most such police troops as are necessary to maintain internal order and to assist in international enforcement.
The Congress sees one of the most effective means of ensuring the lasting pacification of the world in the general abolition of compulsory military service by means of laws passed by each country on the basis of international agreements.
