The pretty photo that we are publishing opposite these lines groups the eight graceful athletes of the women's section of the "Gymnast-Club de Nice" who, under the direction of Mr. Autié, their instructor, have just won the first prize of excellence in the Rennes Gymnastics Competition in a hard-fought battle.

This section is participating today, with all the other sections of the "Gymnast-Club", in the grandiose athletic event organized by this Club, under the auspices of the "Œuvre des Malades et Grands Blessés de Guerre", and which will take place this afternoon at the Pasteur Hospital.
These young and energetic athletes will perform in the group movements and in the pyramids without apparatus which earned them their success in Rennes.

Their courage, their flexibility and their boldness will provide the brave soldiers hospitalized at Pasteur with a few moments of sweet sporting emotion, while the men's sections will interest them in various group demonstrations, boxing, wrestling, strength and flexibility.

We will give in next Sunday's issue a detailed and illustrated report of this sporting festival dedicated to our dear sick and wounded of war.
