Cinema in the United States.
The figures tell us that the film industry is really a formidable thing in the United States. The sums devoted to it represent a capital of 1,250 million dollars! If we consider that the canning industry in the same United States represents 2,200 million and that of automobiles 1,700 million, we can judge its importance.
The film industry in the United States is operated by 127 companies, twenty-two of which form a trust. Fifty thousand workers, whose annual salary is 75 million, are employed by these various companies. It is said that next winter this industry will take on a greater development following the application of new industrial methods. There are therefore still good days for the Jackie Coogans present and future.
