How the Soviets Treat Strikers

Riga, September 3. News comes from Petrograd that machine-gun detachments are guarding the approaches to the port docks, where unemployed workers are being used to break the dockers' strike, which, called for over wages, is currently affecting fifteen thousand workers employed in the port.

The Cheka has arrested the strike committee, whose members have been deported to Murmansk, (Radio.)
