Two suicide attempts. A sixteen-year-old girl, Miss Marie-Louise Leclerc, residing at 12, rue Bouilloux-Lafond, attempted suicide by throwing herself into the Seine, quai des Tuileries, yesterday morning. She was immediately pulled out by the police officer Degalle, from the first arrondissement.

A few hours later, Miss Renée Binet, 41, a laundress, residing at 25, rue Broca, also threw herself into the river. She was also pulled out by a police officer, and hospitalized by the police commissioner of the Sorbonne.

A theft of 2,500 francs from the window of a jeweler. Mr. Paul Beigne, jeweler, 7, rue de Castiglione, noticed, while returning his display, the disappearance of a case containing 7 gold and platinum pins, worth 2,500 francs.

Arrest of a pickpocket. Joseph Rott, 26 years old, Polish citizen, plumber, living at 21, rue Perceval, was arrested yesterday morning at the metro station "Bastille", on the request of an employee of the company who claimed to have seen, on two occasions, searching the pockets of travelers, between the stations of Bastille and Châtelet.

A soldier kills himself in a urinal. Neuilly-sur-Seine.
