Two suicide attempts. A sixteen-year-old girl, Miss Marie-Louise Leclerc, residing at 12, rue Bouilloux-Lafond, attempted suicide by throwing herself into the Seine, quai des Tuileries, yesterday morning. She was immediately pulled out by the police officer Degalle, from the first arrondissement.

A few hours later, Miss Renée Binet, 41, a laundress, residing at 25, rue Broca, also threw herself into the river. She was also pulled out by a police officer, and hospitalized by the police commissioner of the Sorbonne.

A theft of 2,500 francs from the window of a jeweler. Mr. Paul Beigne, jeweler, 7, rue de Castiglione, noticed, while returning his display, the disappearance of a case containing 7 gold and platinum pins, worth 2,500 francs.

Arrest of a pickpocket. Joseph Rott, 26 years old, Polish citizen, plumber, living at 21, rue Perceval, was arrested yesterday morning at the metro station "Bastille", on the request of an employee of the company who claimed to have seen, on two occasions, searching the pockets of travelers, between the stations of Bastille and Châtelet.
Rott, who has already been convicted of theft, has, despite his protestations of innocence, been sent to the Depot.

Drama of jealousy. During a discussion motivated by jealousy, on rue J.M. Jégo, Mrs. Marie Thery, aged 34, saleswoman, residing at 15, rue de l'Etoile, in Arcueil, fired a revolver shot at Miss Renée Haudrochi, aged 24, turner, same address.
The murderer was placed at the disposal of the police and the injured woman admitted to the Pitié hospital.

A soldier kills himself in a urinal. Neuilly-sur-Seine. A soldier of the 23rd Colonial Infantry killed himself by shooting himself in the right temple, in a urinal on boulevard de Levallois, in Neuilly. In his pockets were found papers in the name of E. Donner, and letters addressed to his parents, domiciled at 25, rue Carterie, in Nantes.

A thief, the woman Joséphine Kures Pepita, of Serbian origin, aged 22, arrested recently for several thefts, and who had been admitted to the Hôtel-Dieu because of her advanced state of pregnancy, escaped last night, a little after the 2 o'clock round, by climbing a wall using a ladder placed in the courtyard of the hospital.

Two poachers named Alexandre Riquouard, a navvy, aged 44, residing at 20, rue Saint-Séverin, in Paris, and François Conne, aged 33, also a navvy, residing in Paris, at 70, rue Vercingétorix, were arrested. They were carrying bags containing, with all the equipment necessary for their work, a wild rabbit and forty-seven partridges, the fruit of their one-night poaching. They were imprisoned in the Pontoise prison.
