BIGAMA ACQUITED The Polish industrialist Constantin Inskiewitz, in 1920, married civilly, in London, a German. A year later, in 1921, he married a Frenchwoman in Paris, this time civilly and religiously. Prosecuted for bigamy, Inskiewitz explained that, his first marriage having been purely and simply civil, he had considered it as non-existent. After pleading by M° Rosenmarck, the Assize Court yesterday acquitted the bigamist |
