Retinoscope The other day, a doctor had discovered a certain drug which, administered to a man, and even to a woman, prevented him from lying. What a resource for the examining magistrates responsible, by profession, for extracting confessions from their clients! Today another doctor, still American, has just invented a small ocular device, the retinoscope. which allows, by inspecting the interior of the eye of an interlocutor to see immediately if this one respects or alters the truth. Still enough to facilitate the task of the investigating judges.
