A JUDICIAL ERROR TO REPAIR

Last December, two farm servants, named Pincemin and Le Buzith, were attacked in the evening in Vouziers. The investigation led, shortly afterwards, to the arrest of two Spaniards, the Cerdan brothers, who appeared before the Ardennes Assize Court last February.

Despite their denials, but in the presence of numerous coincidences which were unfavorable to them, the Cerdan brothers were sentenced to five years in prison, a sentence which was commuted to five years in prison.

The Marne Assize Court yesterday convicted two bandits, named d'Exemple and Kerlidou, who confessed to being the perpetrators of the attack on Vouziers, for which the Cerdan brothers were condemned. Following the confessions of d'Exemple and Kerlidou, who were sentenced to forced labor for life, the chancellery will receive a request for review of the judgment which struck the two Spaniards.
