MR WILLIAM MAC ADOO (LEFT) WILL PRESENT A TROPHY TO A CHAMPION

During a ceremony which took place at the Clairvoyant Eagle ranch, near Los Angeles, Mr. William Mac Adoo, dressed as a cowboy, Democratic candidate for the presidency of the United States, presented Yakima Canutt, who strangely resembles a movie actor, the Roosevelt Trophy, awarded to the world champion cowboy. Other figures in the photograph are Dorothy Morrell, who won the ladies' race at Cheyenne; Donna Card Glover, first in the ladies' relay race at Yankee Stadium in New York, and Tommy Grimes, another renowned champion.
