THE AGRICULTURAL COMPETITION WAS INAUGURATED YESTERDAY

1. A MONSTER PIG; 2. IN FRONT OF THE CINEMA; 3. A FAMILY OF SHEEP; 4. A RAM

The general agricultural competition opened its doors yesterday, at the Champ-de-Mars. Cattle are represented by sixty-two impressive specimens, sheep by one hundred and fifty-six sheep or sheep and pigs by twenty-one samples of beautiful corpulence.

Mr. Chéron, tomorrow, and the President of the Republic, Saturday morning, will come to visit this Agricultural Show.
