The centenary of Léon Richer
The League for Women's Rights is celebrating the centenary of the birth of Léon Richer, who was its founder. The ceremony will take place this evening at 8 a.m. 30, rue Las Cases, under the presidency of Mr. Georges Renard, professor at the Collège de France, assisted by Mr. Rageot, vice-president of the Société des Gens de Lettres, Mrs. J. Landu, MM. Paul Desachy, Paul Coutant, Léopold Delacour, and Ms. Avril de Sainte-Croix and Maria Verone. Let us add that next Sunday, in Aulnay-sous-Bois, where Léon Richer lived, a ceremony will take place at the municipality, where the street named after the defender of Women's Rights will be inaugurated.
