Yesterday, in the morning session, the Chamber was discussing the pension law, when Mr. Bouyssou, deputy for Landes, asked for the project to be referred to the committee. Against this referral, Mr. de Lasteyrie posed the question of confidence. The vote put the cabinet in the minority by 7 votes, the referral to the commission having been pronounced by 271 votes against 264. Mr. Poincaré, informed of the vote of the Chamber, immediately went to present the resignation of the cabinet to the president of the Republic. Here is a photograph of the resigning cabinet in session which shows, from left to right, turning around the table, seated: MM. Raiberti, Millerand, Maunoury, Léon Bérard, Peyronnet, Maginot, Le Trocquer, de Lasteyrie, Poincaré; standing: MM. Colrat, Chéron, Strauss, Reibel, Sarraut and Dior.
