Cinema in the P. T. T.

The field of advertising is expanding every day, and there is no progress or invention of which we do not seek to make some application to the means of making better known the excellence of this or that product, the beauty of this or that region.

Post offices and all things postal have long been invaded by the all-powerful advertising. But here's what's even better.

In certain offices of the P. T. T. administration, and in particular in those on the streets of Enghien and Sainte-Anne, we have for some time seen devices producing illuminated advertising and operating automatically; we thus admire on a screen superb views of tourist landscapes, the reproduction of curious and famous monuments, we read various advertisements.

This new method of cinematographic advertising in our post offices interests adults and amuses small children.
