Fascism reestablished in Italy

I'm not talking about Matteotti's assassination. Although this is the bloody and vivid revelation of the fascist regime, it is only one episode.

Not the first, by the way, and unfortunately everything points to it! that it won't be the last either. The murder of Matteotti deserves to be illustrated more widely since popular indignation has shaken the whole of fascism, whose edifice is cracking on all sides, threatening to collapse and drag down not only the bandits in its fatal fall. criminals and bloodthirsty people whose names are on everyone's lips, but also Duce Mussolini himself.

And the monarchy too! She who, in order to maintain the Savoy dynasty on the throne of Italy at all costs, forgot July 29, 1900, the tragic end of King Umberto I, the “good king”, the protector of Bava Beccarès and Morra de Leaciano, the perpetrators of the massacres of Milan 1898 and Sicily 1894.

In vain the dictator of Predapio hits his iron fist on the shoulder of his friends to separate responsibilities!

There are too many corpses weighing down fascism, and Benito Mussolini will also have his share of the burden to drag along the path to atonement.

In Rome and throughout Italy, no one believes him anymore. We no longer have confidence in our star. The general impression is that the adventure is coming to an end and we are beginning to notice out loud what we barely allowed ourselves to insinuate quietly a few weeks ago: zateno

“FASCISM HAS RE-ESTABLISHED THE TERRORIZING INQUISITION OF THE MIDDLE AGES IN ITALY!»

This statement is not an exaggeration, especially for those of us who see the effects of the despicable regime on a daily basis. Judge!

After the march on Rome

After the days of the "March on Rome", which exasperated the villainous fury of the bands, who had been promised the sack of the city (something which was prevented only by the fear of the repercussions it would have had abroad) , the lansquenets in black shirts established their headquarters at the Palazzo Marignoli, in Corso Umberto, which is the most central and aristocratic artery of Rome.

The appalling number of assassinations committed in those days was not enough.

The bodies of young workers were found in the outlying streets of the city and did not have the honor of a public burial, nor did their parents have the very poor comfort of the usual judicial investigation and trial. ending with the acquittal of the guilty.

Rome was to be a bivouac of soldiers, and was so for five days of anguish and mourning, during which the torture chambers were installed in the Palazzo Marignoli, with all the equipment which characterizes their terror.
It was curious about those who left these rooms only after absorbing a dose, more or less strong, of castor oil in the stomach or with bruised limbs or face. The French beating was only the most elementary gymnastics for the gangs who populated the basement of the Palace; the same premises where the hunting club was once located, with the difference that previously horseback hunting was discussed there, whereas at the time we are talking about, in fact only hunting was discussed there. manhunt.

Terrible tortures

How and why did it end?

Here is :

There was a frightening episode which suddenly revealed what everyone already knew, but which no one dared to say, and which until then the bandits and their acolytes had been able to hide and deny from the eyes of the world.

A poor peasant family, falsely accused of having captured the son of a fascist, was tortured there. Some had their feet burned, others had their limbs slashed with knives, and their ears torn off. They were innocent, but in the horror of the suffering they suffered, they agreed at one point to confess everything that they wanted to confess.

Immediately, the press, paid by the new tyrants or obeying out of fear, announced in large letters the discovery of the crime and covered the tortured poor with insults and slander. But later, the truth came to light, and some time later, the prison doors opened to the unfortunates, while popular anger rose towards the Pollastrini, the Trambiesti, and all the other thugs who, cowardly and sadistically, devoted themselves to the profession of executioner.

A truce

At that moment there was a truce. But this was because of the internal disagreements which arose in fascism and which caused noisy scandals. Fascio was expelled from the Palazzo Marignoli. Despite everything, the fencing of the stick, with which the fascists are always armed, continued.

The militia was then formed for so-called national security and the former Sainte-Catherine barracks, on Rue Nationale, were assigned to it as headquarters. Immediately the wild beasts, brought back to their barracks, re-established the traps for the prey they needed and in the new home, fascist barbarism restarted the game of torments.
For whatever reason, citizens are captured more or less quietly, in the streets of Rome. It is sometimes political hatred and sometimes economic competition or personal revenge.

There is a madman who controls everything. and we could name it if necessary.
The henchmen grab you, drag you and... the least that can happen to you when you cross the threshold (as we said) is a torrent of spitting, slapping, threats, insults. all sorts. There are also several so-called safety rooms; one, the most terrible, is nicknamed “Castel San Angelo”. It is the dirtiest, the most fetid; the unfortunate people who pass through there, when they come out, are totally crushed, bloodied, unrecognizable.

There, they are given neither food nor water, and sleep is made impossible by the nightmare that oppresses you.

Those who come out go first to the police station and then to the hospital. Needless to say, police officers appear as saving angels in the face of fascist savagery.

And that says it all. On the walls of the security rooms, there are prints of a human face, covered in blood.
(We cannot, at present, name any names, because that would seem a sort of denunciation and would be enough to give some unfortunate people a hard time) There are excrement and dirt on the ground. urine that has been there for months, all spreading a fetid odor. From time to time the door opens and black figures of men appear in the darkness, knocking on the pile, as if they were rummaging through a tangle of scrap metal.

Who then hears the complaints of the poor martyrs?

Person ! It is rare to find someone who dares to complain, because often the pain expressed serves as encouragement for further torture. Then, the unfortunate people are once again insulted and treated as vile by the scoundrels who, in numbers, and armed to the teeth, mercilessly attack the men who dare to utter a word of revolt and raise the slightest protest against this regime which insults, crush and kill.

And all these thugs, like the executioner of the Middle Ages, after having accomplished their crimes, go to the church to implore God's holy blessing. So now they are preparing to celebrate in Rome “Anno Santo” (Holy Year), the third anniversary of the Fascist Revolution. Let's hope it's the last one!

Fascism reestablished in Italy, the terrorizing inquisition of the Middle Ages!
