FOR THE FIRST TIME A HORSE WAS TRANSPORTED BY PLANE YESTERDAY FROM BOURGET TO ROTTERDAM
1, THE DROUHIN PILOT AND HIS PASSENGER 2. THE PONY, STILL IN A CAGE, WILL BE TAKEN INTO THE PLANE'S CABIN 3. BOARDING
Yesterday afternoon, a new passenger boarded a plane. This is a young racing colt. At 15h. 10, after having hoisted the pony into the cabin, the plane, piloted by aviator Drouhin, took off and flew towards Rotterdam where it landed at 6 p.m. 18. Until then, planes had, for the needs of individuals, transported many animals, notably cats and mice. But this is truly the first time that a horse used this means of locomotion.
