An incident at the Mulhouse Municipal Council

Mulhouse, June 28. During yesterday's meeting of the municipal council, the meeting room was suddenly invaded by around fifty members of the Syndic and tenants, coming to protest against the numerous evictions planned for the end of the month and asking the mayor to intervene or to resign. It was finally agreed that a delegation would go to the president of the court tomorrow morning and the incident was closed. During the negotiations, which at times were very noisy, more than three thousand tenants were stationed in front of the town hall. (The Work.)
