It seems that, decidedly, the villa of our Landru, in Gambais, is going to become the property of a circle of good people who are involved in spiritualism.

Their project would be to install a haunted house there where the wandering souls of the assassin and his ten or eleven victims would meet.
The spirit of Landru, sensed by a turntable, would have shown itself, it seems, very favorable to these posthumous meetings.

He would willingly forget all the troubles that his victims caused him and even the insolence of one of these ladies who dared to call him a "furnace" and did not take long to repent it, Landru being very Talion rouge".

Everything therefore suggests that we will have, as soon as the new school year begins, at Gambais-Palace, an interastral communications centre that will compete victoriously with the T. S. F. stations of Sainte-Assise and Croix-d'Hins.

The elite of reincarnation will meet there and the unknowable will be on first-name terms. An intelligence agency on the latest gossip from the afterlife will finally deliver to humanity the secret of all the problems that, since the questionable creation of the world, have fascinated all unfortunate mortals: immortality of the soul, plurality of inhabited worlds, persistence of the conscious self in reincarnation, complete results of races, etc., etc.

An ectoplasm factory will be attached to the villa. The competition of all deceased celebrities now seems assured. Nature will have no more mysteries. It is not too soon!

One can only fear that these spirits, coming from all points of the universe, will not get along very well with each other and will end up justifying the cruel words of an ironist who did not believe in friendship: Tell me who you haunt and I will tell you who you hate,
