The Sino-Russian agreement

LONDON, June 18. Word has come from Beijing that a decree has been published ratifying the Sino-Russian agreement. The Chinese government responded to Japan's note insisting that its interests and privileges on the Chinese Eastern Railway would not be affected by the agreement. He says China cannot accept such reservations.

A similar response was made to England and France who had sent notes to China similar to that of Japan on the same subject.
