air routes in the Far East

SIAM
Organized in 1913, after an internship. of officers in France, the Siamese aviation participated in 1918, on the Western Front, in the world conflict.
Since 1920, the royal aviation service has provided transport for letters, postal parcels and the sick.
The lines currently operating are:
Don Muang-Korat: Roy Eit, Oubone, Hong-Khaï.
Don Muang-Chandebouri,
There are two flying schools in Siam and airfields in each province.
In November 1922, 4 Siamese Bréguets carried out the Bangkok-Hanoi raid.

INDOCHINA
Two mixed military squadrons (planes and seaplanes), in Bien-Hoa (Saigon) and Bac-Mai (Hanoi). 2 airport terminals, a dozen airport stops, around sixty landing grounds, seaplane bases, over 3,500 kilometers. Main organized lines: Hanoi-Saigon by the coast. by the Mekong (went back, at the end of January 1924, by seaplane 220 km downstream from Houai-Sai). Hanoi-China border. Saigon,
Hanoi-Upper Laos. gon-Sisophon (Cambodia).
French Far East airline created at the end of 1922 to operate the lines: Saigon-Bangkok and Saigon-Pnom-Penh.

JAPAN
Japan is equipping itself to become a great air power: French (military aeronautics) and English (naval aeronautics) missions; Japanese aeronautical mission to Paris. It owns eight aeronautical factories (airplanes, engines, propellers). A commercial aviation service operates between Tokyo and Osaka. Japanese pilots carried out the air routes: Tokyo-Moukden, Yoko-suka-Kagamighara and Sasebo-Chin-ghaï (Korea).
The nature of the terrain of the Japanese islands (mountains, rice fields with dikes, mulberry trees, fences, few meadows) making landings very dangerous, it was necessary to develop numerous military, naval and commercial airfields. Japanese squadrons also exist in Korea and on the island of Formosa.

THE AERONAUTICAL ORGANIZATION OF SIAM AND INDOCHINA
The future Europe-Japan air commercial route, of which the Pelletier Doisy raid demonstrated the possibility of creation, will follow, from Burma, the route Don-Muang, Hanoi, Moncay, Canton, Shanghai, Japan, considerably shortening the journey followed by our pilot for colonial and political reasons.
